Safety first
Your safety is part of every booking
Adventure activities involve water, changing weather and natural terrain. Follow the guide’s instructions at all times. Trips may be delayed, shortened, rerouted or cancelled when conditions are unsuitable.
Guide-led operation
Guests receive paddling, balance, capsize and route instructions. Stay with the group and do not enter restricted channels.
Weather and water checks
Operations depend on rain, wind, lightning, visibility, tide and water-current conditions. Safety decisions by the trip leader are final.
Children and guardians
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Final participation depends on life-jacket fit, weather and guide assessment.
Swimming only when approved
Enter the water only at the designated area and only after the guide gives permission. Non-swimmers must inform the team before departure.
Secure personal belongings
Use waterproof protection for phones and valuables. Mangrove Horizon is not responsible for unsecured items lost or damaged on the water.
Before you arrive
- Report at least 20 minutes before the slot.
- Wear quick-dry clothing and secure footwear.
- Carry drinking water, sun protection and necessary personal medication.
- Do not participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Tell us about non-swimming ability, recent surgery, pregnancy, epilepsy, severe asthma, heart conditions, mobility limitations or any condition that may affect safe participation.
Operational rules
- No standing, racing, intentional capsizing or changing kayaks without permission.
- Do not disturb wildlife, damage mangroves or throw waste into the water.
- Follow the assigned route, equipment allocation and guide signals.
- Participation may be refused when equipment cannot be fitted safely or when behaviour creates risk.
- Emergency evacuation and first-aid decisions are made by the operating team.
